\n\tFrom Friday 2 to Sunday 4 June 2023, Reggia di Venaria\u00a0will host the first edition of the\u00a0Late Spring Music Festival<\/strong>, the innovative music project created, with Reggia di Venaria, by\u00a0Claudio Pasceri<\/strong>,\u00a0one of Italy’s most appreciated cellists and former artistic director of other prestigious festivals, who as “artist in residence” plays the role of\u00a0creative interpreter of Venaria Reale’s very own genius loci<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0selecting the pieces of music and their matching performance spaces.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe festival will propose a selection of\u00a0musical appointments<\/strong>\u00a0over the three days devoted to great music. The lead role will be taken over by artists of international standing performing in the iconic locations of the complex: the evocative Hall of Diana and the Church of St. Hubert, the grand Gardens and the imposing Great Gallery.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tEach musical appointment has been designed ad hoc<\/em>\u00a0to suit the spaces hosting it and deals, at \u201cdifferent temperatures\u201d, with epochs and styles ranging from Baroque to today’s music, also including outstanding names from Classicism and Romanticism.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe musicians will be at the Reggia to perform solo repertoires and to get together to play chamber pieces.
\n\tThe event will feature Ilya Grubert<\/strong>, the Latvian violinist deemed one of the top virtuosos of our times, contemporary music icon Irvine Arditti<\/strong>, gifted composer and pianist \u00a0Micha\u00ebl Levinas<\/strong>\u00a0from France, and soprano\u00a0Marion Grange<\/strong>;\u00a0Enrico Maria Baroni<\/strong>, \u00a0clarinet soloist from the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai<\/em> (Rai – Italy’s national public broadcasting company – National Symphonic Orchestra);\u00a0Viennese\u00a0Chaos String Quartet<\/strong>, one of the most appreciated new-generation ensembles, as well as American cellist \u00a0Annie Jacobs-Perkins<\/strong>\u00a0who belongs to the circle of the most interesting talents on the international scene.\u00a0Last but not least, composer\u00a0Vittorio Montalti<\/strong>\u00a0with the\u00a0piece\u00a0<\/strong>he has\u00a0specially composed for Reggia\u00a0di Venaria<\/strong>, whose world debut will be on 2 June in the evening.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe\u00a0matinee-concerts<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0will open each of the three days of the\u00a0Late Spring Music Festival<\/em>, while the\u00a0afternoon appointments<\/strong>\u00a0will offer the audience further creative paths, to suit both those purposely coming to the event and those approaching the musical activities just by chance. \u00a0
\n\tThe musical appointments will take place at different moments of the three days, which will conclude with the\u00a0Evening Sounds<\/strong><\/em>, longer concerts with a more articulate programme. \u00a0The daytime musical moments will be open to Reggia and festival visitors, subject to availability, while admission to the evening concerts requires the purchase of a dedicated ticket.<\/p>\n
