The innovative musical project is conceived by the Consortium of the Royal Residences of the House of Savoy (Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude) together with <strong>Claudio Pasceri<\/strong>, one of the most appreciated Italian cellists and former artistic director of prestigious festivals, in the role of <em>artist in residence<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/lavenaria.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/e_2024_en_lsmf_programmi_3.pdf\" title=\"The program of Late Spring Music Festival\" type=\"pdf\">Download the complete program of the Festival<\/a> (pdf)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\tThe festival offers various <strong>musical events<\/strong> during the four days in the name of great music.\u00a0The protagonists are artists of international prestige who will perform in the iconic places of the complex: the evocative Sala Diana and the Chapel of Sant&#8217;Uberto, the grandiose Gardens and the majestic Great Gallery.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tEach musical event is designed specifically for the spaces that host it, and is focused on eras and styles from the Baroque to the music of our days, through the great artists of Classicism and the Romantic period.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe musical events will take place at <strong>different times of the day<\/strong>, through a <em>peaceful invasion<\/em> in music which flows into <em><strong>I Suoni della Sera<\/strong><\/em> (<em>The Sounds of the Evening<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe musical days will be announced, <strong>every morning<\/strong>, by the hunting horns of the <em>Equipaggio della Regia Venaria (Regal\u00a0Venaria Crew)<\/em> with evocative force and colour.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe performers of the event will come to the Reggia to perform solo repertoires and to join in chamber interpretations, to tackle orchestral pages and to sing a cappella.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe event will be opened by the <strong>Philharmonic Orchestra of the Teatro Regio of Turin<\/strong> together with the virtuous percussionist <strong>Andrei Pushkarev<\/strong> in the <em>Four Seasons<\/em> by Antonio Vivaldi, presented for the first time in Italy in this acrobatic version.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe sought-after female choir <strong>Ensemble Sequenza 9.3<\/strong> will be the protagonist of a program built around the magnificent Corsican folk songs.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe extraordinary French pianist <strong>Wilhem Latchoumia<\/strong> will move from the elegant South American rhythms of the Brazilian Villa-Lobos to the heights of the cathedral-music of J S Bach.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0The <strong>Prometeo Quartet<\/strong>, winner of the Silver Lion Award at the 2012 Venice Biennale, will range from the works of the Russian genius Dmitri Shostakovich to the hypnotic minimalism of the American Steve Reich with the song <em>Different Trains<\/em> for quartet and electronics, then they will perform Franz Schubert&#8217;s masterpiece, the quintet D 956, with <strong>Claudio Pasceri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe German pianist <strong>Herbert Schuch<\/strong> will offer two recitals dedicated to two giants of the history of music, Mozart and Beethoven, while the <strong>Gropius Quartett<\/strong> will tackle the masterpieces of Haydn and Mendelssohn, entering into today&#8217;s ironic and refined music.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0Again the percussion of <strong>Puskarev<\/strong>, in duo with <strong>Pavel Beliaev<\/strong>, which from the sonorous incandescence of Astor Piazzolla will arrive at the spirituality of the melodies of Arvo P\u00e4rt.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Francesco Pomarico<\/strong>&#8216;s oboe soloist will accompany the audience through the phantasmagorical <em>Six Metamorphoses from Ovid<\/em> by Benjamin Britten at the Fountain of Hercules, in the Gardens of the Residence.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Claudio Pasceri and the choir of the Ensemble Sequenza 9.3<\/strong> will give voice to the new work, in world premiere and dedicated to the Reggia of Venaria, by <strong>Ivan Fedele<\/strong>, one of the greatest contemporary composers.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Gianluca Verlingieri<\/strong> will create for the Late Spring Music Festival a sound installation entitled <em>Different Trails<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tA true living legend, violinist <strong>Salvatore Accardo<\/strong> will be present at Reggia di Venaria to talk about his life in music, with one of Italy&#8217;s most esteemed musicologists, <strong>Angelo Foletto<\/strong>. With the participation of <strong>Irene Accardo<\/strong>, pianist.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOther meetings will feature the musicologist and fine storyteller <strong>Guido Barbieri<\/strong> and the philosopher and journalist <strong>Filippo La Porta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe directors of important European music festivals come to Reggia di Venaria to talk about their realities and discuss the theme &#8220;how to imagine the future of music&#8221; between suggestion and enthusiasm. This year&#8217;s guest at the event will be <strong>Felix Heri<\/strong>, Head of the <em>Lucerne Festival Contemporary<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAs in the first edition of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/lavenaria.it\/en\/evento\/late-spring-music-festival-2023\">Late Spring Music Festival<\/a><\/em>, the <strong>events addressed to children<\/strong> entitled <em>La Voce degli
