Room\u00a0<strong>1<\/strong>, rooms\u00a0<strong>9<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>10<\/strong>, rooms\u00a0<strong>28\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>29<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>The Paper Court by Isabelle de Borchgrave<\/h3>\n<p>Silk, velvet, lace, embroidery: the Belgian artist <strong>Isabelle de Borchgrave<\/strong> has created <strong>thirteen spectacular gowns<\/strong> and attires using the most ephemeral of materials, paper.<br \/>\nThe display, located on the <strong>staircase leading to the Church of St. Hubert<\/strong>, celebrates elegance in the 18th century, which marked the peak of magnificence at the Court of Savoy.<\/p>\n<h3>Music for the Great Gallery by Brian Eno<\/h3>\n<p>The sound installation <em>Music for the Great Gallery<\/em> was created by <strong>Brian Eno<\/strong> specifically for this spectacular space. The English composer played with the grandiosity, the light and the reverberations of the <strong>Gallery <\/strong>to create an <strong>electronic piece<\/strong> with violin and piano in 12 movements. The sound flows out of four perfectly hidden speakers and the visitors find themselves immersed for more than one hour into a <strong>sound environment<\/strong> that changes as they move through the gallery.<\/p>\n<h3>The square lights up by Michele De Lucchi<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Piazza della Repubblica<\/strong>, with its famous paving patterns that recall sea waves, lights up with the lamp-posts designed by <strong>Michele De Lucchi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Piano concerto no.2 by Michael Nyman<\/h3>\n<p><em>A Celebration for Venaria Reale<\/em>, the work written by the English composer <strong>Michael Nyman<\/strong> for the Gardens of La Venaria Reale, is the soundtrack of the video installation that presents the restoration project for the Reggia and the Gardens in <strong>room 56<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Storyboard. Paladino at the Reggia of Venaria<\/h3>\n<p>This work specially created for the Reggia by artist <strong>Mimmo Paladino<\/strong>, one among the leading and most established figures of the Transavantgarde current, unravels inside three rooms bringing together painting and drawing, sculpture and installations, even cinema.<\/p>\n<h3>Closer to the stars with Giovanni Anselmo<\/h3>\n<p>In the middle of Juvarra&#8217;s <strong>Grand Parterre<\/strong>, six slabs of African Black granite are positioned on the ground along a North-South line. They bear the inscription \u201c<em>Dove le stelle si avvicinano di una spanna in pi\u00f9<\/em>\u201d (Where the stars come one span closer), the title of <strong>Giovanni Anselmo<\/strong>\u2019s installation.
