A year of amusement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tThe exhibitions and cultural activities of 2022 revolve around <strong>the theme of play<\/strong>, not only for the historical references contained inside the Reggia \u2013 the place of leisure, entertainment and playful moments of the sovereigns par excellence \u2013 but also with a view to focusing on the present time and everyone&#8217;s desire to treat themselves to moments of lightheartedness.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlay, in its many forms, is the <strong>leitmotif of the cultural programme<\/strong> that offers a calendar of activities dedicated to this theme: art events and entertainment, three exhibitions focusing on amusement, workshops for families, educational initiatives, guided tours and events fostering discovery and reflection with insights and conferences.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe entire Venaria Reale estate is immersed in a playful atmosphere, including the Reggia, the Gardens, the city of Venaria Reale with its Old Town, the nearby Park of La Mandria and the castle with the same name.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The exhibitions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>\n\t\t\t<em><a href=\"https:\/\/lavenaria.it\/evento\/dalle-piazze-alle-corti\">From squares to courts. Stories of games and shows between the 18th and 19th centuries<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t\tFrom 9 April to 18 September 2022<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\n\t\t\t<em><a href=\"https:\/\/lavenaria.it\/evento\/foto-in-gioco\">Pictures at play! A tale by 18 Italian photographers<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t\tFrom 9 April to 18 September 2022<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\n\t\t\t<em>Play.Video games, art and more<br \/>\n\t\t\tFrom 22 July 2022 to 15 January 2023<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Events focusing on amusement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\tStarting in spring and continuing throughout the summer, the events organised by Venaria Reale revolving around the theme of play will let visitors participate in the series of <strong>Game Sundays<\/strong> \u2013 beginning on 17 April \u2013 as well as in other key moments and reviews taking place in the Gardens such as the <strong>Street Magic World Championship<\/strong> from 2 to 6 June and <strong>Summer Nights at the Reggia<\/strong>, from 22 July to 13 August, with concerts, theatre and circus performances in the Gardens.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe project <strong>Reggia! Everybody is free<\/strong> will present from 10 September to 15 October series of story readings and playful lessons by writer <strong>Giuseppe Culicchia<\/strong>.
