\n\tPrincipal repr\u00e9sentant de la peinture romantique anglaise avec William Turner, John Constable est le protagoniste d\u2019une exposition qui raconte et retrace chronologiquement tout le parcours artistique du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre peintre \u00e0 travers les \u0153uvres de la\u00a0Tate, UK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\tL\u2019exposition est constitu\u00e9e d\u2019une\u00a0soixantaine d\u2019\u0153uvres<\/strong> qui vont de l\u2019esquisse et de la peinture de petite taille r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en plein air, de mani\u00e8re impressionniste avant l\u2019heure, jusqu\u2019aux plus importants et vastes paysages romantiques, tels que la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre vue de Stratford Mill, repr\u00e9sentant des lieux dans les alentours proches de son village natal, Dedham Vale, dans le comt\u00e9 de Suffolk. Des lieux aim\u00e9s, tr\u00e8s significatifs du point de vue sentimental pour ce grand artiste qui, \u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence de son coll\u00e8gue William Turner, grand voyageur, ne s\u2019\u00e9loigne jamais de son Angleterre aim\u00e9e et repr\u00e9sente la Nature selon un style \u00ab\u00a0pittoresque\u00a0\u00bb, pour utiliser la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre terminologie de l\u2019esth\u00e9tique du philosophe Emmanuel Kant.<\/p>\n

\n\tAinsi, contrairement \u00e0 William Turner, peintre du \u00ab\u00a0sublime\u00a0\u00bb, d\u2019une Nature qui fascine mais qui inspire aussi de la crainte et m\u00eame de la terreur chez l\u2019homme, comme une temp\u00eate en mer ou une tourmente dans la neige, John Constable repr\u00e9sente plut\u00f4t une\u00a0nature accueillante<\/strong>, rassurante, au sein de laquelle on peut se d\u00e9tendre et s\u2019endormir en toute s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9. John Constable a privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 une peinture des lieux \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s \u00e0 sa vie et \u00e0 son foyer.<\/p>\n

\n\tDans l\u2019exposition, on trouve aussi des \u0153uvres d\u2019artistes contemporains de John Constable et, dans certains cas, concurrents, tels que\u00a0William Turner, John Linnell, Benjamin West<\/strong>\u00a0et d\u2019autres dont le travail s\u2019entrelace et se confronte \u00e0 celui de John Constable.<\/p>\n

\n\tLa Tate, UK\u00a0poss\u00e8de la plus importante collection au monde d\u2019\u0153uvres de John Constable. Apr\u00e8s cette exposition \u00e0 la Reggia di Venaria, les \u0153uvres retourneront au Tate\u00a0et ne seront plus visibles en dehors de l\u2019Angleterre pendant tr\u00e8s longtemps.<\/p>\n
