Ces \u0153uvres, dont certaines sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es pour la premi\u00e8re fois en Italie, proviennent de grandes collections italiennes et \u00e9trang\u00e8res. Elles t\u00e9moignent tout \u00e0 la fois de l\u2019\u00e9norme fortune iconographique et narrative des \u00e9pisodes de la vie d\u2019Hercule et de la forte fascination que son image a exerc\u00e9e au cours des si\u00e8cles.<\/p>\n

Cette exposition co\u00efncide avec les travaux de restauration de la \u00ab Fontaine d\u2019Hercule \u00bb<\/strong>, au c\u0153ur du projet des Jardins du Palais au XVIIe si\u00e8cle, domin\u00e9e par la statue du Colosse d\u2019Hercule maintenant pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au public apr\u00e8s une des derni\u00e8res phases de la grande restauration de la Venaria.<\/p>\n

Le parcours se termine par la pr\u00e9sentation de grands films<\/strong> produits \u00e0 Cinecitt\u00e0 dans les ann\u00e9es 1960 puis encore r\u00e9cemment \u00e0 Hollywood, qui confirment le regain d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat dans ces derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies pour le mythe d\u2019Hercule.<\/p>\n
