The town itself, whose name refers to hunting, was established in connection to the hunts that were organized here in the 17th century.
The celebrations for St. Hubert at Venaria culminate with a Mass celebrated in the church of the Reggia that bears his name accompanied by music performed by Accademia di Sant’Uberto.
