New Year's Concert at the Reggia

Sunday 1st January 2023 we will welcome the New Year with a choral gospel music concert by Eric Waddell & The Abundant Life Gospel Singers at the Cappella di Sant'Uberto (Church of St. Hubert).

Before the concert, with the same ticket, you can visit the Reggia, the Gardens and the ongoing exhibitions. 

Eric Waddell & The Abundant Life Gospel Singers is a group bringing together the best talents from the city of Baltimora, USA: an outstanding voice and timbre combination featuring deep and powerful tones. Masterfully conducted by Eric Waddell, its front-man and leader, the choir has achieved a vocal level able to bring back the feel of the most authentic gospel groups. The broad concert set list ranges from modern arrangements of contemporary gospel, including some pieces by Maestro Waddell, to traditional themes in the most cherished mainstream versions: an exciting musical blend able to touch the heart of the listener, who cannot help interacting with the artists from the very beginning.  

The concert is organised in collaboration with Blue Note Milano.
Blue Note Milano is Italy's jazz club par excellence, part of the network of the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, New York. The venue first opened in the Isola district in March 2003 and, over almost 20 years in the industry, has hosted a number of the most outstanding artists as regards jazz, blues, soul, Italian and international music: including The Blues Brothers Band, Stefano Bollani, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Chick Corea, Paolo Fresu, Pino Daniele, The Manhattan Transfer, Wynton Marsalis, Brad Mehldau, Marcus Miller, plus many more. In addition to the shows staged on its own premises, Blue Note collaborates and interacts with external organisations and institutions, planning concerts and events in other locations, all under the Blue Note Off brand.
