Caravaggio Experience

In the grandiose architectural setting of Juvarra's Citroniera at La Venaria Reale, the visitor is invited to engage in a 50-minute projection and music show that accompanies the whole display, without interruptions and in loop, where 58 works by the great painter are evoked. The installation presents the main themes of Caravaggio's entire production: light, naturalism, theatrical staging, violence. It ends with an ideal "journey" through the places where he lived, following chronologically the main phases of his incredible life.
