Elliott Erwitt Personae is the title of the first retrospective exhibition of his black-and-white and color photographs. His black-and-white photographs have become icons of photography, displayed with great success throughout the world, while his works in color are almost entirely unpublished.
The 170 images of the exhibition highlight the compositional elegance, the deep humanity, irony and sometimes the comic quality of the great American photographer, characteristics that make Erwitt a beloved and inimitable artist who is considered the "photographer of the human comedy".
Curated by Biba Giacchetti with graphic design by Fabrizio Confalonieri, the exhibition has been organized by Civita Mostre together with the Consortium of the Royal Residences of the House of Savoy in collaboration with Sudest57.
