From Friday 30 May to Monday 2 June, third edition of the international exhibition that offers various events over the course of the four days dedicated to great music: a peaceful invasion of the Reggia and of the Gardens accompanied by shared moments and appointments dedicated to children.
From the matinée-concerts to the afternoon appointments, which will offer further creative paths to the audience, to Night Sounds (I Suoni della Sera), concerts with a more significant duration and a more articulated programme.
The Late Spring Music Festival was conceived by the Consortium of the Royal Residences of the House of Savoy in collaboration with Claudio Pasceri, as artist-in-residence, one of the most appreciated Italian cellists and former artistic director of prestigious festivals.
In this edition, the Festival wants to extend and diversify the involvement of the community: internationally renowned artists and amateur musicians, children and adults, regulars at musical events and curious citizens, all together. The aim was to convey the message that music belongs to everyone and should be shared and valued as much as possible in its various forms and expressions.
Thus, over the four days of the festival, children from local primary schools will be the protagonists of Luciano Berio's opera Twice Upon, in an extraordinary Italian première performance.
The concert pianist Gloria Campaner proposes a creativity workshop, a gym of emotions open to all, upon reservation (write to [email protected]).
The Orchestra Filarmonica TRT, in addition to the concert performance, will introduce the orchestra to the children present at the Reggia with their parents through the well-tested format called The Voice of Instruments (La Voce degli strumenti).
On the last day of the event, 2 June Republic Day, the spaces of the Reggia will resound at the same time. Some ensembles of amateur musicians, selected through the La Repubblica della Musica call for proposals, will have the opportunity to perform publicly in the context of the Late Spring Music Festival.
The protagonists are artists of international prestige who will perform in the iconic places of the complex: the evocative Hall of Diana and the Church of St. Hubert, the grandiose Gardens and the majestic Great Gallery.
